🛫 L’est du pays manquait à Annie Daignault, elle y est donc retournée, mais cette fois-ci ce fut en Nouvelle-Écosse. 👨‍⚕ Le 29 avril dernier, c’est 7 médecins vétérinaires et 4 étudiants finissants qui étaient présents sur le campus agricole de l'Université Dalhousie à Truro (Dalhousie Agricultural Campus), près de Halifax pour participer à cette journée de formation. 👩‍🎓 La journée a débuté avec un peu de théorie sur : ✅ Le diagnostic de gestation et le dénombrement des fœtus (échographie et autres méthodes) ✅ La vasectomie et l'examen pré-reproduction du bélier reproducteur✅ Les avortements ✅ Les protocoles de synchronisation des chaleurs. 🐑 Et en après-midi, il s’est tenu un atelier en bergerie pour pratiquer les échographies de gestation et de dénombrement des fœtus avec différents appareils à échographie sur les brebis du campus.🤝 La journée fut beaucoup appréciée des participants et a suscité de belles discussions sur les modalités d’un programme de surveillance médicale en bergerie. 🏥🙏 Merci à Dre Wilma Schenkels (Chief Veterinary Officer) de Nova Scotia Department of Agriculture pour l’organisation de cette journée et avoir pensé au CEPOQ. ...
